Vaillant heat pump systems can cope even with extreme weather conditions.
Either high heats in the summer or freezing in the winter, Vaillant heat pumps can make your house feel great in all seasons. This is due to the fact that the energy absorption unit of an air-to-water heat pump is installed externally, while the hydraulic system is installed internally. It is essential to operate smoothly and quietly even in the most adverse weather conditions – such as near the coast, in icy mountains or in extreme heat. Hence, our systems must first pass many inspections at Vaillant’s test centre to ensure both durability and quiet operation.
From Sahara to the North Pole: Endurance tests for any case.
All Vaillant products undergo several inspections at the Remscheid test centre where real conditions are simulated. In particular, the outdoor unit of an air-to-water heat pump must be able to cope with extreme conditions. In the climate chamber, the evaporator blades and the fan rotor blades must withstand extreme temperatures of -20 to +46 ºC. Another type of test is spraying the devices for months with seawater to simulate the weather in such kind of areas. Our focus on high-quality materials and products pays off: smooth operation is guaranteed even in the north pole.
Reliable heating in winter? Of course, yes!
As a result of the many tests and improvements, the aroTHERM plus air-to-water heat pump is a robust system, resistant to wind, seawater, rain, snow or sub-zero temperatures.
Noisy Heat Pump? Of course not!
A quiet device is among our priorities. Therefore, we find extremely significant the development of ultra-quiet devices that are subjected to intensive noise measurements throughout their development phase. Additionally, they should meet high psycho-acoustic requirements.
